hi friends my newly upgraded pc giving me problem:annoyed:,
Intel g620
intel DH67BLB3
corsair valueselect ram 4gb.
i have installed Intel desktop utility software, which is showing the warning messages that PROCESSOR FAN has slowed or stopped working, why does it showing like that. is it is normal:(.
cpu temp normally hovers between 45-50 C.

@bsd open up your computer cabinet and look inside, is the CPU heat-sink fan properly seated and the wire is properly secured in the CPU_FAN connector OR is some wire interfering with the fans movement.

If the above is not the case, try to update to the latest BIOS and see if the situation improves. If this second step does not help I think you will have to RMA your motherboard and / OR processor [in that order].

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Yes that seems to be lower than the standard but then, is the problem manifesting again [low fan speed warning etc etc]?

I think you might need to visit the BIOS and tweak a few settings, especially related to the fan-speed.
