My friend has a Lenovo Y500 Laptop. IT has Intel 945GM chipset.

He wants to add more RAM to it

His laptop presently has one 512mb DDR2-533 card.

Which one to add.

transcend kingstons corsair all are fine and wont really give you any problems

any known brand will do, like kingston, transcend etc. 1k shud get you a 1 Gb module
