PC Peripherals Samsung Mouse Problem

Hello folks..

The problem i currently face with my Samsung Optical mouse (6 months old) may sound silly. Your help on resolution of the same would be appreciated.

The problem is when i do a left-click once, it results to multiple clicks i.e while opening IE or My Computer i get 3-4 windows open on 1 click.

Checked mouse properties in CP and everything seems fine.
 
Sounds like the Samsung mouse has decided to take a dump - time to change it I guess. Replace it with a Logitech regular optical mouse, however... they last a lot longer, I've had one for about 2 years and it still works.
