Storage Solutions Shall I get my HDD replaced even though it is running perfectly?

I have a 320gb WD blue series hdd running perfectly on my system. It was bought in year 2011 from a TE member and at that time 5 years warranty was applicable.
HDD is still under warranty till Dec 2014.

Shall I get it replaced before the warranty ends? Even though its running in mint condition?

AFAIK wd doesnt offer refurbished ones like seagate.

Last year I RMAed my faulty WD external disk, and they gave me a recertified one as replacement.

I guess I should drop the idea of getting it replaced if its working good.

But again will I be lucky to get a higher size variant like 500gb or so if I go for replacement?

Also, does wd gives green drive in place of blue ones if its not available?

If they find no issues with your drive, you will get your own drive back.

Not sure if they check the returned HDD. I RMAed a faulty 1TB WD drive back in 2011 and they never picked up the faulty drive. I still use it as a paper weight in my work desk
