Monitors [Troubleshooting] Is this backlight bleed or something worse?

I noticed this with my monitor (MSI G242) just today. I am pretty sure this wasn't there a few days ago. Any help with this is and what might be causing this? My monitor is still within the warranty. Would this be covered in warranty?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes looks like an extreme case of backlight bleeding, it should be covered by warranty.

Does it look the same when you are booting from BIOS?

Any idea what could be the cause? As it is on all 4 edges.

Does it look the same when you are booting from BIOS?

Yes it does. I can even see some indication (this corresponds directly with the lit regions in the pics) for it even when the monitor is powered off.

Ran the tests. Results for all of them seem satisfactory to me. But are you recommending looking for something specific in those tests?
