My uncle wants to change the OEM head unit in the Fortuner. The primary reason is ipod connectivity. A double-din sized HU would be better since the original one takes up that much space. I know he might have to compromise on the steering controls, which he has been made aware of!
Please suggest some specific models. A good ipod interface and good SQ is the only criteria. He is not looking to change the speakers at the moment. He just wants to send the car with the driver and get the HU changed (he doesn't want to go and audition). So, specific models would be better. Ofcourse, if the steering controls can still be utilized, it would be even better.
