Probably can be used as a seedbox right ?
2TB per month is good but unlimited would have been even better. You know how fast those seedboxes seed. It is ridiculous.
That's like under 4$ per month for a seedbox which is very very good IMO.

Great deal @varkey bought it.. I purchased Cent OS VPS with CPanel and WHM.. but I assume CPanel and WHM are paid software, it was included in the setup so will they be giving me trial version??

i dont think torrenting is allowed on all VPS's

Seedboxes are tailor made for that purpose

I'm assuming you paid only $40 & didn't purchased the cPanel/WHM addons separately. So, in that case, you have simply selected the OS with pre-installed (& pre-configured may be?) cPanel/WHM. You will have to install the licence manually, & I think even for the trial version cPanel requires a licence key.

what should the server name be?? will it be in any way related to the domain name that i shall use for the website that i would host here?

It can be anything, a FQDN will be more appropriate.

Its an unmanaged server, the server name has no relation to what you are planning to run on it. You will however have to install a webserver, databases etc manually to run a site.

Dang, should have seen it earlier, bought one from 123systems.net , 1.5GB RAM, 2GB burst, 20GB disk, 1.5TB bandwidth for $40/year too.

I would not jump on this guys .. chicago VPS have tons of cheap VPS plans like these.. any idea how they recover cost ?? overselling !!

Plus I read plenty of problems with CVPS these days on LET.

How much is the ping timing from India.
I am using a server from Digital Ocean hosted in Europe and I get < 300 ms timing.
