before sending it for RMA just try another PCIe card from friend but it should be pretty low end without any power from PSU. No need to go into Windows and OS stuff. just BIOS display. if that comes then send your card for RMA if not then send your mobo for RAM :P

and your Video output can be only one. it can either your graphics card or on board. you cannot use both at same time. if just Fan is moving and no display there can be faulty capacitor of your mobo as well. i had that problem in past where my 5770 use to run with full Fan speed but no display...

which new mobo did you purchased? just checking

does your mobo has DDR2 or DDR3? there is EP43T-USB3 mobo which can use your C2D plus will give you 16GB DDR3 + USB3 also.

processor purchased here on TE only. not sure about warranty. however never overclocked or anything due to non gaming usage. rest stuff warranty present....sorry for OT....but we dont need warranty for processors...do we ??? i have normally never seen processor gone bad like memory / hdd goes...
