CPU/Mobo Anybody bought Ryzen 2700X

Exactly, also the unavailability of B series chipset means high motherboard prices also. And idea when the B450/470 chipset will launch.
Not anytime soon is what I hear. AMD has not committed any time frames as of now. I'm planning to replace my existing 1700 and move that into another machine.

Can't make up my mind between these:
2700X/8700K/wait till CL Refresh
8700k is useful only for pure 1080p gaming and avx2 heavy workloads. At 1440p and higher, differences with a single card are marginal. For everything else 2700x is faster.

Still on 1080. Don't intend to go 1440 just yet. Not with other priorities.. so time for gaming is limited. Just need a solid all round 1080p rig.. mild video processing and home device streaming are the other uses

Intel is good for 1080P@144Hz Gaming. For 60 or 75Hz at 1080P, Ryzen would suffice.
