Laptops Graphics question

How would you compare the HD3670 512MB on Dell Studio XPS 16 vs the 9600GT 512MB on HP DV5-1016tx and also the laptops themselves?

The cost I think is about the same and the rest of the features match up too.

At the outset, one can safely say that the 96GT will be better than the 3670.. lemme take a look at the full config nd get back to you

edit - cant really comment on the dell rig coz it expects you to config it in detail.

The HP on the other hand seems like a nice overall package.

The 720p WLED on the Dell combined with the HD3xxx card will make for a nice movie watching exp. while, the HP looks like a better gaming machine

The processors are mostly the same, the ram is upgradeable on the dell and I will go for 4GB while its at 3 for the HP. HDD is faster at 7200rpm for the Dell. The rest is pretty much the same.

According to Notebookreview the dell gets around 4800 3d marks to around 4400 for hp. I would say the dell would be worth it especially if you get the rgb led upgrade. But its supposedly hotter as well.

Any actual game benchies, I am looking to play fallout3, maybe crysis warhead and gta 4.
