Don't need a HDD and gfx, looking to upgrade to an SSD for OS drive in couple of months and will get gfx later too.

What would be a vfm h67 board?
 
If you want H67 chipset then Intel DH67BL-B3-5.6k is vfm,if you don't want HDD then you can get i3 2100-6.2k or i5 2320-9.5k or more.

If you're gonna get a ssd then OCZ PETROL 64GB SATA III 2.5 SSD-5.4k OR Corsair Force Series 3 60GB SATA 3-6k

What would be the cheapest(vfm) board for the i5 2500k? May be able to up the budget a bit!

If you're getting i5 2500k-12.5k then you'd at least have to get Asus P8P67-M PRO-9.5k and you'd gave to get CM Hyper 212 EVO-2.1k for ocing,without overclocking there is no use of getting i5 2500k.For your requirement there is no need to get K series cpu,it's upto you.
 
Hi Friends,

Any update on the trend of PC component costs. Its been long time now. As it is the business of PC component selling is turnover based, I hope the component importers/distributors/wholesalers/retailers are not taking any undue advantage by inflating the cost aritificially as an excuse to the exchange rate of rupee and the crisis in Thailand from where majority of the stock for Hard disks comes.

Rupee has now fallen below 50 as per todays article from timesofindia website.

Wouldnt it be better a new guid come out after IVY Bridge is launched? Though its slated for release on April 29 according to CPU world, it will take some time to become main stream in Inda. till then i guess the original Dec'11 guide holds good!

Mention only CPU+MOB+RAM+GPU and required PSU..

It will be very helpfull if you post in both INTEL & AMD based.

Sir what psu do you have? if it's not good quality one then increase your budget and get-
