Ya CX400 is more than enough.

Corsair RAM is good.

Gigabyte 880-GM-UD2H and Gigabyte 785GMT-USB3 are similar except the IGP. U can save Rs.500-700 by going for the 785G mobo.

If u are into serious gaming then opt for the HD5770 ~ 9.2k-9.5k as it is much more powerful.

you should go for MSI 880GMA-E45 its better than u select,it has usb3.0 and sata III.

secondly if u can slightly extend your budget then buy chose CM gladiator cabinet.

That was fast.

Gigabyte 785GMT-USB3 is not available.

Casual Gamer, so no problem with the HD5750.

Well then MSI 880GMA-E45 is a decent option. Else go for the Gigabyte 880GMA-UD2H if the price difference between 880GM-UD2H and GMA is not much as the GMA version uses SB850(Sata 6Gbps ports). Decide according to price and availability.

Saw this listed on ebay eBay India: Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3 Motherboard For AMD - 3YR (item 310230125533 end time 28-Jul-2010 19:26:46 IST)

Isnt that overpriced at 8.6k coz I saw the same on Newegg for about 100$ odd:S

Also had a query about how is the performance of a the IGP HD 4250? is it good enough to run occasional games or watch HD movies:S
Price is too high. Go for the MSI 880GMA-E45 for 5.8k from SMC. Yes the IGP is good enough for HD movies and occasional light gaming

Any idea to which GPU might be the IGP comparable to? Asking coz I was planning a rig with just the IGP and it is supposed to be used for just occasional simple gaming like fifa etc :p

Hi Dark Angel,

Lovely guide.. my search for such configs end at your post. I am a reseller.

In last 12 months, I must have bought minimum 30 Desktops for Lamington road, Maccann Infosys,
Though I get very good service and rates, I was always confused at the config I wanted. Always end up in buying what they suggested.
Thank you so much once again.

hey darkangel
i was going through your guide(which is freaking fabulous btw!!):clap:
i couldnt help but notice Gigabyte GA-MA74GMT-S2 paired with athlon x3 435 and hd 5670
i was wondering whether its HT1.0 and PCIe 1.0 would bottleneck the processor and graphics card!!:S
i wondered whether BIOSTAR A780L would be a better recommendation,
considering its HT 3.0 and PCIe 2.0 (but sadly only ddr2 support)!!

i am considering buying a pc based on your 20k pc
with hd 4670 and gigabyte 460w and athlonII x3 435
which mobo would be better?

thanks again darkangel!!

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

please reply:(

also, is this motherboards igp is good enough for a 20inch screen, (require for movies and general stuff)

For now the cabinet PSU should suffice. Invest in a decent entry level one when there is cash to spare(FSP SAGAII 350/ Zebby Pro 350w ~ 1.5k).

The IGP HD4200 is enough for movies, general stuff and playing older games in a 20" screen. No worries.
