I need to upgrade the 128 gb SSD on Dell laptop, which one of these 2 ?

WD Blue 500 GB M.2 SSD WDS500G2B0B

Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB M.2 SSD MZ-N6E500BW

or crucial 500 GB ?

I am currently using 2 crucial Mx 500, one on laptop, other on desktop on a slower machine(Sata1.5).
No complaints whatsoever.
If you can get hold of Samsung the all the better.
1. Samsung.
2. CRUCIAL.
3. WD.
Btw, this is my experience with Sata drives. I don't think there should be much difference with M.2 unless going for NVME.

Do drop on your feedback. No, not the benchmark scores.
How does it fare in your day to day usage. Basically, 4K/IOPS.

I am using Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SATA 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-76E500) bought in January,15th, 2018 for my then MSI i5 7300 laptop and still going strong. Used HDD to SSD samsung tool to transfer Win8 to my laptop without any problem.

MX500 and WD Blue have the same controller and nand. Buy MX500 as it is cheaper if the choice is between those two. I got two of them for 9k from Amazon a few days ago. They were selling for 5090 - 500 sbi card discounts.

I have 6 of these drives doing duty in various machines.
