Table BB code is different in IPB thats why old is not working. Check the button on the left of FONT dropdown in the editor. It has a table BB code too.

Checked that now, its has got many other useful tags

BTW is it possible to enable the Acronym tag by default, this will help the members a lot, as mouse-hover will reveal the acronym

One day we will meet, I know TE admins are crowd shy :cough: :cough:

On a serious note:

Is it possible to give weightage to each sub forum according to its relevance to Tech and increase the daily like quota? I know the problems of misuse of reps in past and complication arising out of it.

What I suggest, TE can reduce the weightage of like / rep to non tech section (even zero) and increase the like count per day so that more likable reads can be put up.

Because a person like me reading the posts in a bulk will be limited by this regulation.
 
Will keep that suggestion under consideration for after we strike out the priority list items.

Just wondering, is the tagging issue an issue?

Because I haven't received notifications when tagged by some members (iGo, MetalSpree), whereas i have received them when tagged by others (viralbug)
 
Have the market rules changed?

I can't seem to post there anymore. + the market rules page isn't showing up.

Scratch that.. working now... I like the new format

Tagging has got two basic criteria.

- the member name is case-sensitive

- one must enable notification under their user control panal

Guys.. is this happening for everyone or just me??... every time i visit the forum after a gap.. and click on View New Content/Recent Posts ,,, nothing shows up!!

Can anyone tell me whats wrong? Because i can no longer keep track of threads and make out which threads have updates or not.. without going through each subforum one at a time!!
 
Check the links on the left of the search results page to see which category is being shown. You might be on a category which doesn't have any new content

I've checked. Trust me.. i'm not reporting it blindly.. It might have something to do with settings.. but it doesnt matter which category i check, it simply shows up as Sorry No New Content.

I cant figure out whats causing this!

For some reason i cant edit my other post..

anyway, this is what i keep seeing everytime i visit the forum after a gap... There are simply no updates!

When I click on 'View New Content' I want to directly go to Forums and not to Pages as it does currently. Is there any way to change the default setting?
