Make it so we can see notification, private msgs etc without having to click anything, and even if I do click it, it seems buggy in chrome in zoom mode, (anything more than 100% display)

There is a bug of theme settlement in cross browser compatibility with this site. Check it in Google Chrome and IE7,8 than you will be cleared what i am asking to you.

Yeah it is an inconvenience. We are looking to do something about it.
