You are a guy with enuff self esteem & money for not to swindle for "400 bucks". If its matter of principle/ethics/sides, its very correct seller should have been teensy bit more patient asking for more clearer pics. Either u too busy and wont send him, the deal doesnt go through Or He sees that its a snap on,says no and this deal doesnt go through Or you could have said its a snap on thingy. All this would have been avoided.

Please discuss with the seller and come to a fair compromise. 400 bucks is not worth winning or losing.

case was not broken from any angle.

All i can say is this Is OP's fault and i stand by my word about case was original bought from ebay.

i wont compensate for what OP has broken and I am not trying to be rude when i said about lack of time.

what i have here is true

max to max i can do is partial refund as OP has broken the case .thats it.

I dont have to swindle anybody for even 1 rs.

i was and is too busy with my own work and it was my mistake and i should not have sold the case.

its just my mistake that i sold it.

i wont pay for what he broke.

i have almost 10-15 unused mobiles in house,

if this case was their what difference it could have made to me,?

i just thought of helping out as atrix accessories are not freely available here in market.

i can offer refund of 200 as OP has broken the case.

thats it.
 
As I see this case, (And no I do not know any of them)

The buyer trusted the seller as he said the product was original (and did not ask for another picture; careless I must add ). Though one thing is clear from the pic that its a snap on cover. Not sure how he missed it.

I don't like the seller attitude post sale. If what ever he committed (like original) is not true; than the onus is on seller. I can see using different tone in mail threads. Once offering him scratchgaurd and next time calling him [font="arial, sans-serif"]extortionist. [/font][font="arial, sans-serif"]This is not how you deal with a community member Dr. [/font][font=arial, sans-serif]When you sale something to a member; you stand by that sale. (That is what communities are for).[/font]
 
If this is the scenario then talk with each other and settle the issue with partial refund. I can understand both sides quarreling over issues involving a hefty transaction, but for 400/- its just lame. Settle it between yourselves.

[font=arial, sans-serif]I think the mistake was to call it original when it was not. Though yeah; onus of not checking what cover is it, is not with you as it is clear from picture that its not a battery cover.[/font]

Just give a clear answer to this :

Is the case really an "Original Motorola Battery Cover" as you mentioned in your First PM, or not.

Sorry dude, but your trying to cloud out the real issue here. Whether the OP broke the case or not is still to be ascertained. It could have been broken when you sent it, during the courier process or by the buyer and thats something that cannot be said for sure, I hope you agree with that. Things going bad while with the courier or plastics breaking happens once in a way. Unless you wrap it in a nice thick bubble wrap and then put it in a strong cardboard box, chances of it breaking are always there.

Anyway leaving that aside, why are you not responding to the fact that it is not a genuine motorola battery cover. Why is it a case cover rather than a battery cover. Anyway, if I were you I would return the full money minus the courier charges and be done with it. Its quite obvious as to what has happened and I guess this would be the right way to close this issue.

And if you were helping you would have given it for free...with only courier charges and before you ask, I have done it many times for many members on the other forum.

this question was never answered through out. I had pointed this couple of times and i have an impression that the seller never wanted the discussion on those lines which gives me a feeling that he clearly knows what he was selling.

We can only take a guess who as broken it. Had you been fair in the deal,anyone could have beleived you.Isn't it ?

Thats what I mean to say, that its all about attitude going on now a days in market thread, you can see a similar thread running on TE regarding a MP3 player worth 600/- which was unnecessarily being dragged. The seller and buyer should be true to themselves first rather than hiding anything. Come on #pratikb and #yogeshtulsiani, accept whoever among you is wrong here, its just a matter of 400 bucks... No one is going to blame you after that, people will accept you as you were....To accept a mistake is all it takes to resolve an issue...

And rad0, even if we trust others, its not necessary that others are always trustworthy.. So even though its TE, a buyer should clear all his doubts with the seller before paying him for any item. This is how online deals go and should go ideally.

If you see the picture,it clearly shows articulate and clear case which fits properly.

Had it been broken,would it look so even and clean?

+1 on this.. this is what i have precisely been emphasizing..no matter what the confusion from the pic may have arised.. was the product original as claimed by the seller??? or not?? the simple solution to this whole problem is this answer.. if the product is not original, then every other reason for confusion stands on one side and the answer to this on the other.. and if the answer is that the product is not original, that reason alone weighs down against the seller for every other confusion that has arised.

this is a very small transaction indeed.. people on this forum buy products worth thousands of rupees. please settle this the easy way..

#yogeshtulsiani #pratikb claims that the product was not broken when shipped. Please be truthful about this. Was the product received in broken condition or did it break by mistake because of your carelessness???? this will be important to judge whether you should be getting a refund or not..

because may the product be original or not, once you received it, you must have surely realized that.. and after that if you tried to fit the case and by accident broke whatever you're saying is broken, then i dont think you deserve a refund on that..
 
Seller is avoiding answering to the question if product was genuine or not.. he keeps pulling out other stuff about the pictures.. definitely doubts on him only..

Its originally bought from ebay and I have already said about refund and their is no need to bring up my credibility.
