Forum Feedback Anyone interested in a dark skin for TE?

there could be theme editions like Batman, ME3, etc. Is it possible?
Maintaining skins is a real pain so no it would not be possible to have so many skins. Besides there are not many great dark skins which are free and buying them would be another pain. Unless of course someone shows us a skin and pays for it too.
Hmmm.. well a dark theme has been online since last night. I thought someone must have noticed it by now.Would love the dark TE,waiting for it.
It was not originally a dark skin so there might be areas which need work. Simply report them here and those will get ironed out in a week or so. There are certain parts which cannot be changed as they are universal like the post editor.
Well, pointing out some visual changes that needs to be reworked on
1. Member title is in Dark blue : Change it to something else, green may be.
2. We can decrease username font size here :
Also search bar can be fitted in side the yellow container (may be by deducting top margin value or top padding it is.)
3. Quick reply POST text color should be black or something that looks good on Yellow button.
4. Username color in "X Users are reading this Topic" and "Online User list"

^ Blue shade doesn't look good on Dark theme. I guess blue shade looks brilliant on bright colors. change the color to black when tabs are inactive. Keep the active tabs as it is.

Well, Forum Index looks great but I think we should keep three color shades only. Black, Green and Yellow. We can remove those blue rings or replace them by yellow or green rings. Including many colors will make this theme more funky rather than professional.
White Metro UI style : Blue
Dark Metro UI : Green, Yellow
7. Logo should be smaller in dimensions. In fact header (branding) height can be reduced to something like 140px.

2. Not really a big deal. But will change it slightly. The search box is perfect for me on FF. Which browser?

I can change the colors but why should this be a professional skin than funky. We can always have one funky theme. Besides that blue color is a TE logo color so it will always remain there on the logo.

Metro theme .... FTW. Minor color changes are OK but dont change the font .

Its look good if the TE Logo is little small [it get 1/3 of view] also try different the logo's background ,and search tab looks odd under user profile

BTW in the dark skin, there is no UI differentiation for quotes. The colours also need to be changed. Lot of mismatch in palette
