And images loaded perfectly at work. We could upload as well.
Maybe at your workplace.

How about making the FS and WTB tags of differant colours? Mostly Orange and Green?

BTW, AFAIK Renegade's name was Rakesh.

For now I have reorganized the attachment space for everyone.

Members - 5MB

Upgraded - 15MB

Privileged - 20MB

Staff - 25MB

As mentioned by Eddy, please use this to upload and manage your images. So if someone does not upload the images on TE, you can point them to use this functionality.

everyone can manage it from your UserCP > Manage Attachments

^Thank for the expansion. really appreciated. Would still like to plead to bring that [SOLVED] tag as Suggested by #[member='CA50'] or even that Closed thread thing maybe to these threads too? Even if the OP forgets to close it any other member who feels that the OP got his answers and the thread needs no more replying he can report to close the thread? Why only restrict thread closing to the Market Section or a Year old Posts?

It would be helpful in many ways as pointed out by CA50.

#[member='Renegade'] +1 to above, if possible we can also add tags like [TRBSHT] for troubleshooting threads, [INFO] for informative threads like you had put forth a solution earlier as can be seen below.

Yes thats what I am evaluating

I am saying that tapatalk needs to implement that but they cant do it since forums do not have such a feature.

Your second suggestion can be implemented using tags. We can have a "news" tag in the said forums.
Thanks for increasing the attachment space & also for tirelessly updating the forums.

It was done long back and people were using it too. Has it stopped working?

#[member='Altair'], it has been implemented sometimes back, but all members are not using it.

#[member='Renegade'], any way to solve this problem

Really? I never saw any closed thread? I'm mostly in CPU/Mobo or GPU section apart from Gaming. Is it restricted to the op who started the thread only and they haven't used it?

But whenever someone goes to a thread and read through all the posts. He can definitely tell that op's problem has been sorted out and that that there are no more replies needed? Its no-brainer. So any member can report and close it? and give op a privilege that if later on like after a month the problem still persists he can reopen the thread any time?

I dunno if this has been implemented or not cause if i have scrolled enough and i didn't see any closed thread.

In the market section it is meant to close the thread. but in other technical thread it is not meant to close the thread, instead a [SOLVED] tag will be added to the thread title.

Currently it is restricted to the thread_starter and the mods. Some members have started using he feature, but not all

, so it is not working as expected

I've been meaning to start a thread as well. Will see then cause haven't seen like the solved tag till now. Thanks for the heads up. Although members should use the solved tag.

We have an introduction lounge. Now can we get some interviews in there, too? Admins, G-Mods, S-Mods, Popular/Reputed members. Just a friendly chat to get to know the big guns of the forum.

How about the members prepare a collaborative questionnaire that they would want to ask the staff. All of us can answer the questions that we 'can/want to' answer.

Also, are we planning to bring back the Rep system? Not that I want it but I just thought I would ask about it anyway!

Nope that isnt possible.

#[member='Renegade'] Sire

With the current like/rep system, one can't reach the levels of you and other old members who have reps in thousands. I mean, earlier one used to get upto 100 or more rep points if repped by a reputed member, but now just 1 point. Why not make it like, if a reputed members like, it adds more rep as compared to a newbie? I hope you get my point.

I don't think the current system allows this, but let Renegade speak.

I used to feel the same way initially on joining up that I must get increasing REP's and should have a correspondingly long REP bar. But now that euphoria has washed off, now I wait for notifications, any notifications.

A like puts as much a smile on my face as a quoted post does. because that means a debate will start and I simply like the intricate manoeuvres I have to engage in to either prove my point OR except the other party's point.

Just what I feel on this matter, obviously we all cannot think alike. Cheerio!!

I am not asking that in order to increase the bar of rep sire, but just if a post deserves such rep, which senior members can give, it should be given. I'm even fine with 0 rep
