Hi ,

I am planning to build a mini itx pc . I have two doubts .

1) I have one m audio 2496 sound card .is it possible to install it in pci express card slot ?

2) planning to buy an i5 quad core ,4gb ddr3,120gb ssd .etc .is this psu ok for this setup ?

Your answers Sire,
  1. No the M Audio 2496 card is locked to the PCI slot, so no luck there. Here is the product page -- http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Audiophile2496.html.
  2. No that will be too much load on the 220W, the Core i5 itself will appropriate ~100W for itself, the rest 120W is not sufficient if you plan to have a basic entry level graphics card + SSD + couple of fans and add on cards. Not to forget HDD's as dump drives.
