If I were the admin, I'd would have done away with the rep system. I can't understand the logic behind crying so much for rep system. Just contribute and your value will obviously increase. Don't be mean, c'mon.

Please redirect techenclave.com to http://www.techenclave.com/forum/ its annoying to see the error page whenever i type that in.
The Homepage is up and running since today morning(I saw it this morning),atleast i see the homepage and no more errors on - TechEnclave - Home

honestly speaking I dont like this vB look of TE. I dont get a notification when somebody posted in a thread which I subscribed to. Can anybody tell me why does this happens ?
also, I like the forum software of BATTLEFIELDO, Medal of Honor HQ (I dont know the name thats why I posted the website). Damn easy to use. Xenforo or something like that.

You will get a notification through mail, just check your settings in usercp, "instantly using email".

Yes. Both are Xenforo
XF is damn good bulletin board software. Super fast, super sleek. It will definitely kill vb and ipb after winning the case. Notification, Trophies (reputation like system, but much better, like achivements in games) are just mind blowing features on XF.
We can't really say Renu to move to XF, license cost would be a bomb of expense and vB license will be lying unused (like IPB, i guess).

Email notification for thread subscription works fine. Will try out the control panel one. Like someone already told you when you asked this earlier, we're now back to the original vB forum software, so IPB functionality should not be expected. Since the "gamers" are having a hard time comprehending this, its like firing up Doom 3 and asking where the M4A1 is
We have enough XF licenses to spare one for TE but we don't intend to take that leap as the development is uncertain as of now and it does not have a lot of features which you all are used to.
Whatever they have implemented is top notch but we would prefer a stable company as of now.

Renegade - Can the links be highlighted in a more obvious way? I mean look at Eddy's post above. The link in the first sentence is hardly visible - the lawsuit. Maybe a darker shade of blue? Or I am color blind! :ashamed:

No we haven't given up experimenting, expect more experiments within a month or so. Only that this time they will incorporate the lessons learnt from the previous failures.
I only hope we will move on to XF someday :-D I hope all the lawsuits will be dismissed with prejudice.
Anyways, Overall, I am very much impressed with this migration. It was aweful for first couple of days after migration but nice to see everything is being fixed. Wow

Most of the time I am getting the "Page not found" text and every page seems like the old versions.
Rarely I was able to login but I always got the change password warning. It made me wonder if TE was hacked.
Thanks to #Varkey that he informed me about this.
This change to that new format was really not cool for me.
I had lost interest in the Forum and had reduced reading and visiting TE. To top that this frustrating messages started popping up to change my password and worst of all i was not able to access most of the pages.
Had TE not gone back to the old bulletin style this time... I would have to say good bye to TE with a very heavy heart.
But since you are back to the old format I feel happy again. I am so used to this format for last couple of years and really love it.
Please keep it as it is. Long live TE
