Guys i need help in finding some kind of Herbal or something compound to deal with cockroach infestation.
I know-Quick solution will be cockroach spray like HIT-but am shit scared of the long term effects of these sprays especially around the kitchen ( and that is where these devils roam !), and am allergic to these.
Even some kinda electronic gadget to act as repellent -which would make them go away- will be welcome!

try getting the house pest controlled if the conditions are so bad!

Remove garbage very night before sleeping and keep those man-holes properly sealed, also have those open hole around walls and doors completely sealed.

Please try to find the source where they come out from, you have to first find the main place and clean it up else they still will be popping into the house
 
Mix equal quantity of boric acid powder, wheat flour, sugar with little cooking oil and probably some water. Make small balls place it in nook and corner at your place.
This trick worked for me very well.
 
There are a few lizards in my home who do a good job of keeping these pests away from years. No need of any bagon spray (yuk). The only thing that works well is ^ the method mentioned above of making flour balls with boric powder and that chalk - laxman rekha. it has some zinc or some chemical in it that kills these pests very fast. cleanup is a problem with cockroaches lying all around in nooks and corners.
 
Call pest control. Once a year i call these guys who paste some odorless thing in all corners of the house for Rs.800, havent seen a roach for 5-6 years now.

Unfortunately no pest controller in Shimla- will try the boric acid powder, wheat flour, sugar with little cooking oil mixture- do they die after eating this or run away - please illuminate further !
 
My dad is in interior designing business and he comes across this a lot of times.I dont know what he uses but there is some can type thing where in you ignite it and produces a smoke like thing and shut all the doors and windows and keep house close for a day or so.After that there is no trace of that smoke or anything of it.But I have seen that thing drive all those cockroaches and pests drive away from a home like crazy never to return again.We had used that in our home too and till date there has not been a single cockroach.

I'm sure that my dad wont tell me the name just for sake to put on internet.But what you can do is look online or in pesticide shops and ask them for such thing.Its blue colored tin.

PS : laxman rekha chalk thing doesn't do a thing..atleast not in my granny's home where she had these small roaches which were such nuisance.

PPS : You can try n pet some lizards :p

They start dying after eating it, so you will have to deal with lot of dead cockroaches initially .

This works 100 percent, You may have lots of dead things around but once "stock" of cockroaches is over, house is neat & clean :)
 
Guys i have same problem, but main problem is not of full sized cockroaches but of small sized cockroaches(dwarf species) around kitchen in large numbers.

Please let me know the solution, my mother has gone insane & single bottle of Red Hit Spray is used up in just a week time or even less !!

I will try that boric acid thing in weekend time.

Also another insect is Bed Bug, we used to put pesticides at the corners of Bed, but they come again every next month, even i can see their very small transparent children roaming on walls, book shelfs & even on my PC table.

What to do to stop this menace, give some thing extra powerful, to eradicate all insects from my house.

redo your bed. if its matresses then redo that. spray termite killer on wooden corners of your bed.keep your room airy and dry. they infest on moisture so try to shift your bed in a dry place for sometime.
 
@haris5sani you can try the strong stuff, long time back I had got a blue liquid pesticide which mixed in kerosene was sprayed all over my house. BOOM each and every insect bed bug, cock roach, ants and also the lizards were gone instantly. But mind you, it is very disgusting, the smell wont allow a good sleep for atleast 2 to 3 days. Also not advisable if there are any kids around.
On a safer side call the pest control heard of PCI, they usually provide services to big clients.
