Purchased jvcmarsmallow from pristinenote, overall great deal

Thanks :)
My experience with them is bit mixed...first ordered and got the JVC Marshmallows in 2 days...last week paid for M50 on ebay but after one day they called me up and informed me that they are out of stock..and refunded my money..But due to this I lost an ebay coupon worth 500 which I could have used elsewhere and my money is stuck with ebay for 4 days..Now ebay has not yet returned EMI charges of 200 odd...I had to do follow ups..

All this could have been avoided..if they have been updating their ebay listings in time..

Now I have ordered M2 from them..was told that it will be shipped yesterday for sure..till no update even after pming them..

so waiting..
Sorry to hear :(. The M50s LE got sold in rage. We tried updating the ebay, however things moved faster than we anticipated, (We sold 3 in about 5 mins and some of them were walk-in customers). While nothing can add to the loss of money and time you had on your payment on Ebay. However as a token to appreciation, please do accept a discount equivalent to the amount lost on EMI. Hope this time we will not disappoint you. Send in a mail to Gautam sir, for your next order. We have got a discount approved from him for you. Also do not let ebay charge you for the EMI, they should refund the money to you.

Sent the M3 for RMA. Was told that it would take 4-5 weeks or more for the replacement. That's a little too long no ? And usually when they say "or more", it does take more time :(

I have had a fantastic experience with pristinenote. i ordered an item without checking availability and sent the payment. As it happened the item had increased in price significantly yet they decided to honor the previous price as an exception. I have also bought several other items from them and the service has always been topnotch. I am sure they will sort out the issues with their site very soon.

I'm having some trouble following up with pristine note. I've purchased an Audinst MX1, a Brainwavz M3 and an Audiotechnica T500 so far from them and had an excellent buying experience with each one of them. I even recommended the Audisnt to our mod bottle, who purchased one too.

Recently the Brainwavz which is being used by my wife on her ipod started cutting off on one channel. Unfortunately I don't seem to have the bill.

So I was asked for proof of purchase of the same which I think is a very valid thing to ask.

I do have all the personal messages between me and pristine note who shipped it to me and I forwarded the last message from Pristine Note which mentioned that that product was shipped by a specific AWB.

Now I get a response back which seems like it has been written by someone with dyslexia - starts off with a bunch of question marks and asks me again as to where I had purchased this and that they do not have an m3 in stock.

Not having stock - is that supposed to be my problem? Wouldn't any self respecting distributor not keep a few pieces of an item as buffer for warranty replacement?

Also isn't it obvious that I had purchased it from them here on TE when I forwarded their own personal message to me with the AWB no and details?

I'd really like a resolution to this soon. Else I'd be pained to assume they are like any other unscrupulous Indian dealer - they'd gladly take your money but not offer any sort of support later on.

Thanks!

PS: It has been over a week since I sent them the first message that the brainwavz m3 is cutting out and that I'd like to know the RMA procedure.

^^ We thought we(me and @fLUX) alone faced RMA nightmares with them recently. I'm sorry to say, clearly their service has changed off late. Even I had almost 10 orders prior to the last one which went wrong.

Correct. Usually we are never sure when do we get the replacements. It has been about six months that we have not received the shipment of M3, leave aside the replacements. About a month back we received a email informing that our product is ready for shipment. We have not heard anything from you. We are very bugged by this. Do not know what to do. If you wish you can take a replacement for a different product.

I m sorry to hear about your problem. Yes we do keep buffer for RMAs however we have run out of our replacement stock as they have been exchanged for faulty products. We are facing problems with M3 (read our reply above). We have personally apprised the manufacturer of the same. We have paid for M3 but never received the stock.

It is not appropriate to reach a conclusion just because you had a problem. Sometimes things get beyond us to help. We have given 100% replacement to everyone, why should we do that for you too.

I am not sure, if you are based out of Mumbai. If you are we can gladly share any details regarding the RMA (show you the documents), so that you would understand what happned. Anyways about 7 to 8 days back we have shipped your earphone to HongKong for replacement. If you are not willing to wait, we will gladly replace you with any product of your choice. We hope like hell that we receive our earlier shipment and replacement for the M3 this time.

I am sorry to hear that you lost your invoice. Most of the RMAs do not work without invoice. I am also glad that Pristine Note staff, actually took your shipment for RMA without an invoice. Do email sales, if you have further problems regarding same.

My mistake that I did not know that you were actually in touch with Gautam sir regarding the RMA and invoice. Because we all have different work schedule we recommend the following:

Please visit https://www.proaudiohome.com/index.php?route=account/return/insert for any returns.
email support@prisitinenote.com for update and confirmation.

Hope this helps. Please do not write at TE for replacement, kindly follow the above procedure.

Actually, Gautam Sir moved on to design Signature Acoustics. Our regular TE staff went on sabbatical. We had mentioned that on our thread Change of Guards. I have been told to look after TE. We had an another staff on our payroll for TE, who after joining for a month, felt that TE is too boring for him and left the job.

All products (only with Brainwavz) will be replaced. We are expecting new lot. Meanwhile if someone doesnt wish to wait, we can work out something for him. The problem only exists with Brainwavz earphones.

PristineNote;1733907 Sorry to hear that you too faced a problem. [/QUOTE said:
Please take into considerations that most of them here have been regular customers of yours including me ( have purchased stuff worth more than 17-18k in total till today from you) , a one off case like the one i and sriharsha_m faced in RMA of our products has really made us think twice now ....

Sorry to hear the problems faced as far as Brainwavz is concerned. I understand there are no pending RMA on M1 and M2. The issue is with M3, which we do not have in stock. We have already paid our supplier 4 months back and we have yet to get replacement or new stock for these. We do not have the M3 in stock for the moment. (we have been told we will receive our stock on M3 very soon).

We ask you for your patience, however for those who can not wait. As per our policy:

Get a product of similar value or higher (with the difference in payment).
Get 100% credit note. (so that you could purchase any product of similar value in future.

Finally, as some of you have been our esteemed customer we offer the following to share our grief:

Rs 200 off to anyone who has had to wait for 15 working days or more for the RMA.

Rs 400 off to anyone who has had to wait for 30 working days or more for the RMA.

Your time period would be counted from the day we have received your product for RMA.

As a final request, we work very hard to see every customer of ours has an unmatched satisfaction ( I really mean it). Sometimes it is not possible due to circumstances beyond our control. We hope that you appreciate this. Most of our customers are long standing ones. A number of audiophiles and senior TE members have visited us in person. An issue with delay in Brainwavz shipping may kindly be viewed in fair ground. We would love any one of you to visit us in person, so that we could apprise you of all the documentation we had to go through to get the Brainwavz RMA. As some of the information is privileged, it would not be appropriate for me to post them in the forums.

Finally, as some of you already know me in person. I would appreciate a small note (email is a good option directed to me) if you feel that our representative has not been up to the mark. Lastly, to leave you all in good note. Our regular TE guy, should be joining us back to handle TE sales and support.

Please do let me know if I can do something more for you guys.

Best Wishes

-Gautam

I'd like to take my previous comment back - Gautam personally sorted out my issue. The replacement earphone is now on the way. Thank you pristine note for going out of the way in making sure this case is finally closed. I'm sorry about my caustic words earlier.

Why u no buy BRAINWAVZ from mp4nation directly? they offer fast shipping + good prices.

This was purchased in October 2011 and I need a replacement for something that has gone bad. I have no interest in buying any more brainwavz products after realizing how unreliable they are.

I wonder if PristineNote/ProAudio guys are on leave or what. Placed the order for the JVC Marshmallow (Order 575). Been quite some time and no replies from their side. I am not too worried since the order value was not quite big but I sure'd be wary next time because of closed communication.

All orders are shipped within 24 hours of payment usually.

We have received your order but unable to track the payment incase you have done a NEFT . You will receive a call today from Sagar to help you out with your order and make sure it is shipped out as soon as possible.

I sent the screenshot of the payment which clearly had the details mentioned (the transaction number, transaction description with the order number), as soon as I made the payment. If the emails were checked then there is no way the details could have been missed.

Any way, as I said the order value wasn't big enough so I won't be really too fuzzy about it.

Alright I got an email a day before telling me that my payment couldn't be traced. Apparently it still hasn't been traced. Strange, even after I sent the screenshot with the payment remarks/transaction numbers.

While I'll say that I am not worried but I am definitely not very positive about how things are shaping up.
