Suggest decent app for Mac to download YouTube videos

I need a decent app suggestion to download youtube videos. Tried Airy and its good but pricy. I mean in a age of $1 Apps a $20 app doesn't really cut it. And while we are at it any good app for the android for the same.

Install Firefox. Download this addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1-click-youtube-video-downl/

I've found that Firefox addons are generally more reliable than Chrome extensions for downloading youtube videos. A separate app for this purpose is unnecessary. If you normally use Chrome, just copy and paste the YouTube link into Firefox and click the download button whenever you need to download a YouTube video.

Use Keepvid.com website . I find it very good. Also i use the link from keepvid in IDM and it downloads in Full speed. I am assuming IDM is available for Mac as well. If not then any other download manager should also work.

For android i use Tubemate. Not available in play store but can be installed without root.

@OP - try keepvid, its best. However for batch downloads it sucks. I use Any Video Converter Ultimate or you can use Xillisoft which is also good. For Chrome.

I am assuming IDM is available for Mac as well. If not then any other download manager should also work.

Sadly IDM is not available for Mac. It is my first license purchase and now I permanently moved to Mac. Speed Downloader is good for Mac.
