Guys as being selected as the new Mod for the gaming and console section my first job is to get your views regarding this matter.

As you know gaming on mobile phones is growing quite rapidly. Many people are buying mobiles to play the high quality and demanding games. There are singleplayer/multiplayer games. Many Gold titles are also being ported to these platforms also.

So what I want to ask you is that how many of you are into Mobile and Tablet gaming? If yes how much time do you spend gaming on your mobiles/tablets compared to consoles/PCs?

Thing is I for one spend a lot of time on mobile gaming and as there is no section specially dedicated to it. I was thinking its high time there should be one.

Also one another thing we can do is to create a prefix for Games in the Mobile App section or in an existing Gaming/Console Section.

Whichever you find suitable please put forward your views regarding this matter.

It would be good to create such a subsection, where there can be dedicated focus on this. It can include the mundane Candy Crush to the addictive daily gamers such as Real Racing to whatever is the latest and greatest for the octacores to pump their cycles on.

Good suggestion. We should have a mobile gaming section.

Edit - Was on tapatalk. Had no idea about the poll. Anyways, voted now by opening in browser. :)

I would go with 'Games' tag on the thread title.
IMO, mobile gaming, though we spent a lot of time on it, isn't serious gaming.
There aren't much strategy in most of the popular games and besides posting high score show offs, I don't see any fruitful discussion on such games.
(I don't play RPGs. So I might miss a point wrt RPGs.)
