Have you even looked at the specifications? If yes what mobile you could find better specification wise, and price would not be 29k after it would be launched here in India.

I was talking about branding and you are talking about marketing. You must know cyanogen is supported by it's large community and don't need half of Indian population to sell it's phone. You could see the demand peoples are dying to get an invite and they are unable to fulfill the demand. Even if it would be launched in India, they are not going to do any marketing. it would sell itself because of it's community rest could buy Samsung or Micromax. Or any other company which is expert in marketing about their shit products.

My first post was totally on grounds of humor, neither I support or against this brand or any, I don't know marketing and neither I do it, I was talking about this new mobile brand, should come up with some attractive name, coz for me the name one plus one sounds funny, but I don't know about others view, it has nothing to do with my friends improving their GK as u suggested, which pisses me off, just that if a person doesn't know what a cyanogen is or what is one plus doesn't make them dumb people or they need to work on their general knowledge for that reason!
 
When i received my one, i saw horizontal lines on the screen even before i turned it on. I feared whether i received the defective one or not.


With the help of a friend, we took a closeup pic of the screen while it was off using polarizer. Now in the picture one can see the horizontal bands.

These can also be seen by naked eye easily.


Now one day while in daylight when i held the phone at certain angle, i noticed a structure/pattern with in each band. They looked like array of small rectangles with 4 horizontal lines connected to each other horizontally as well as vertically. The structure can be seen in above pic by zooming in.

A little adjustment of contrasts and brightness on above pic in photoshop also shows the structure much clearly.

Display defect I guess.
Ask for replacement for Amazon.
