21-30k Basic 15" laptop for multimedia, office etc

  • What's your Budget? Not more than 25-26K
  • What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? Browsing, office, movies
  • What size and weight considerations do you have? strictly 15"
  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? would like to stay away from Acer, Samsung and Sony
  • 2 (or 3 year) warranty is must

Need a laptop for basic usage. Max budget is 26K. I am thinking to go with Lenovo G50-70. But is it possible to extend warranty? if yes, for how much?

Avi, get the cheapest i3 you can find. But you can even do with pentium/celeron dual/quad cores for that usage.

Hopefully you'l find something slim. Most of the laptops in the range are surprisingly phat.

Also check number of Ram slots and if they are interchangeable.

Lenovo tells me that Snapdeal is not their authorized reseller. or any seller who listed on snapdeal.

However Flipkart or Amazon is fine.

Or did you contact via email?

Any seller on Amazon or only Cloudtail if bought from Amazon?

By that time I would have had received confirmation of base warranty, extended warranty and ADP!
 
I bought the Z50-70. So the 2 years extended warranty will be free of cost.
Free ADP offer is available at lenovoservices.net
But I do not know if Z50-70 has free ADP. Only specific models are covered by that offer. By brother's G510 was covered. His request for free ADP has already been approved.

if you pick, where you purchased from as online retailers, you will not get many options other than cloudtail and ws retail. so if you buy your laptop from other than these two, you will not get warranty extension for 1500.
