CPU/Mobo Motherboard for Q6600 processor ?

Hi,

I want an advice on purchasing a new motherboard.

I'm using a G31 Motherboard with Q6600 processor, but the PCI Slot and the USB ports are not functioning properly, hence want to change the same, since i'm upgrading i would want a motherboard which is compatible even with future ready processors if possible.

Please advice, thanks.
 
Q6600 is LGA775 socket chip. It is EOL. Even RAMs would be DDR2 on it. Even if you would be able to get LGA 775 based board, you will not be able to upgrade processors on it.

So it looks like i've to go for a G31 kind of make, any suggestion which LGA 775 based board to go for?
 
Choose any available from Asus/Gigabyte/Intel/AsRock. Chipset which you might get are G31 and G41.
