Flipkart has announced six Nokia Smart TVs ahead of the Big Billion Shopping Days. The Nokia Smart TVs include a 32-inch TV, 43-inch TV, a 50-inch TV, 55-inch, and a 65-inch TV. The TVs have been made in India and will be available during the ‘The Big Billion Days Specials’ - a unique line of special products curated in partnership with leading brands across various categories.

Nokia does not make the TV. Flipkart is just getting the TV from local manufacturers and pasting the Nokia logo on it. Flipkart bought the license to sell Nokia brand TV's in India. These Flipkart TV's are probably same low quality as their rebranded MarQ stuff which they get from China at throwaway cost.

source?

In order to launch Nokia Smart TV in India, Flipkart has signed a special brand licensing arrangement with the company. The Smart TV will bring with it JBL audio technology paired with 24 Watt speakers.

Powered by the Android 9.0 TV operating system, the TV has a 55-inch 4K UHD display.

The e-commerce company is commending the audio quality of the TV and is talking about it as the main feature of it. Besides this, the smart TV includes a quad-core processor and 16GB of onboard storage.

Walmart-owned Flipkart has reportedly relocated a significant portion of manufacturing and sourcing for its in-house brands to India. The homegrown e-commerce major was sourcing products for its brands from China and Malaysia. This move has helped Flipkart to reduce costs and comply with the government's Make in India norms.

Flipkart's private brands include MarQ, Perfect Homes, Billion and Smart-Buy. These brands account for 8 per cent of the company's total sales. The company is sourcing most high-end Android TVs, air conditioners, washing machines, consumer durables, textile and smaller appliances from India, a report by The Economic Times said. Also, 50-60 per cent of accessories are also sourced from India.

Initially, the electronics and furniture for Flipkart's private brand were being imported from China, but it has been brought to less than 50 per cent, Adarsh Menon, head of private label business at Flipkart, told the daily.

Menon added that out of 150 factories Flipkart works with, 100 are in India. He, however, did not reveal the value of goods that are being manufactured in the factories in India and those in China and Malaysia.

Yeah came to post this. Flipkart is just using Nokia's branding. The fact that Nokia/HMD even agreed to this must mean that they (HMD) are desperate to get some market/money.
Vu doesn't provide quality.
Go after a brand with good aftersales/service center in your area. Getting a good piece nowadays is just luck.
I too plan to get a large TV soon for watching sports. Thinking of going with Xiaomi since they have the most service centers in my area.
