Nvidia RTX 3XXX Series announced

He's talking about 1080p, most current GPU's have no issue playing current games on high/ultra at that resoluton so the 3060 will be more than sufficient for a few years.
3070 and up should be paired with a 1440p monitor at least.

They should reduce it further by at least by 10 percent to 15 percent.
You have got to be realistic here man, I don't think that's going to happen in the near future although I would love to be proven wrong. This kind of performance is already very impressive when compared to RTX 2000 series & with the recent price drop this has already turned into a tremendous value. Unless AMD knocks it out of the park with the pricing in India, I expect this price to remain.

I think 3060 should be enough for me.
I usually don't play major aaa games from specific studios (Ubi, Activision, Konami, Capcom and such).
For specific games like CP 2077, I think 3060(Ti) should be enough. Else, I mostly play indies or older aaa games, which usually doesn't require high end gpus.

those are limited stocks and the 3rd party are around 2x the msrp of FE !

Absolutely, so anyone who is getting these for the FE msrp this year should already consider themselves very lucky.

I believe prices will fall more in line with FE MSRP as soon as the initial launch rush subside & stock starts improving. This has always been the case that 3rd party prices end up being lower or equal when compared to the FE prices on Nvidia site.

This is how FE looks as opposed to Gaming X trio. Two 3080s together

5-6+ deg lower temps with x trio too so it matters much more for us Indians where its hot. One of the reason im waiting for these 3rd party cards.

The GX Trio is way way quieter - in fact the quietest of the bunch. That's more important than a few degrees here and there. 3080 FE is actually a pretty bad design compared to the 3070 FE and the 3090 FE. The latter (3090) is the best of the lot and bests pretty much every single partner card.

Keeping FE only selling off Trio as said earlier. Already sold. Got it for 77.299 + shipping, a friend paid 77.8 + shipping.

FE looks great and temps are sub 80C in extreme benchmarks. So no point in looking for a cooler card. Noise like, I am always plugged in so don't care. Keeping 62k card and selling off 78k card. Geekboz is the seller.

Long story ahead.
I ordered Trio on Oct 18 as preorder as seller told he is going to get card on 25th. But luckily I got FE at 62k meanwhile. So called him but didn't tell him I already got FE and tried canceling then he said

"sir dont cancel we want our reach to grow. You can't get a card at this price if you cancel it now. I can sell it with ease but you won't be getting the same card at this price as mdcomputers and amazon are selling at high markups."

I enquired does he want to hike up price, if so, I wanted to cancel. For which he replied

"We won't charge a penny more than what you paid."

I loved the gesture and didn't cancel the card. Tho he was supposed to get the card on 25th from the distributor but he got it on the 28th cuz of some logistics issue. One down side I felt was he used dtdc to ship which is slow afaik. Now this card goes to my friend. And I shall keep FE.

Hmm depends on what you are looking at i disliked all AIBs for their aesthetics. FE looks awesome. And again beauty lies in eyes of beholder.

is the e store, right ?

That store's description makes me want to ask, any store giving a good discount for a whole set? Barring cabinet and monitor (and SSD) which I already have. Md offered only 1% off lol.

Sadness. I guess I was too hopeful about it then. I thought that maybe they would want to clear some old stock before new gen hits the market. They seem to be pretty confident about higher launch prices.

I dont know if you watch the video during the RTX 3XXX event but it seemed that NVIDIA held back the RTX 2XXX Series. I am being as real as I can. Why is it that they woke up after AMD gives them a tight slap and correct the pricing. They could have done it on Day 1 of launch day in India.

well as per some nvidia personal the indian pricing was already mess before the amd thing came into picture. the issue was that it toke some time to fix the backslash from indian buyers for the extra charges. around 20 days or so. that's why people where able to get those for normal pricing after 24th Oct, 2020 and on wards. well that's the story they have came up and I think that this can be true.

This is not a valid answer from NVIDIA. Pricing has been always ****ed up for NVIDIA in the past and when we were complaining, what were they doing. Hiding their heads like an Ostrich. The bell has rung and I am sure NVIDIA and Intel will wake up this time.

I hope so does amd !

3070 is a bit disappointing TBH. I expected it to crush the 2080 ti. However it merely trades blows with the 2080 ti coming out on top in most cases.

I have a feeling it will get totally crushed by the RX 6800 vanilla.
It is the price of 3070. It is 3 times less.

Poor man's RTXs in the making :)
