PC Peripherals PSU Recommendation

Coolermaster MWe v2 550w. Slightly over your 3k budget but worth it. If you can manage with a 450w, its under 3k.

What will be a fair price to pay for one year used Antec EAG 650 Pro Gold and 6 years warranty remaining? https://www.primeabgb.com/online-pr...50g-pro-650w-plus-gold-certified-modular-psu/

Seller asking for 5.5K.

This rig have i5 4440 and RX470. What capacity do I need?

Too much. Maybe 4-4.5k is fine considering its a year old.

I bought a new EAG750 pro for 5.9k sometime back,
Thanks. I have dropped the plan for this used psu. What is the bare minimum PSU I will need for this system (i5 4440 + RX470)?

From what I read online a 450w psu will be enough for this system. There will be no more further upgrades on this system as it is not my primary system. Need no extra head room here. Just need to get it powered up and going as it is.

550W should do it just fine but if you have an upgrade plan in the future I recommend going 750W at the very least because PSU is the only PC component which doesn't get too outdated and you can carry it over multiple builds.
Invest once, invest wisely.

Yeah 450W should also do it but don't go bare minimum as the efficiency sucks at full load.

450 should do well. I'm using an i7 2600K + RX580 and 4 hard drives, 6 fans with a Corsair RM450 and its running perfect.

Get the CM MWE V2 450W and call it a day

Thank you! I will place order for CM MWE V2 450W.
Cooler master is good as suggested by sunnyboi , you can also check Silverstone viva series.
How does viva compares to MWE? I am getting both for similar price.

What can I do with my old Seasonic PSU? It is out of warranty as the warranty period was 5 years and it's been 7 years. Should I just throw it or seasonic can repair this for me?

Seasonic won't accept this item for repair as it's very old. You can try some local technician with good knowledge who can fix it.
If fixed, it can be used for DIY projects, giveaway or can be donated.

Thanks but I wasn't aware it s closed, but I can guess as nobody sells new seasonic psu.
seasonic was going good in india it was tirupati enterprises also known as overclockerszone.com their distributor that ruined the party. i wish seasonic existed in india.their psu's even entry level ones were way better than the more popular cooler master(cough mwe) and corsair(original vs series) crap that is available in india.
EDIT : So i may be wrong i found https://mdcomputers.in/seasonic-s12ii-620-watt-80-plus-bronze-ss-620gb.html?sort=p.price&order=ASC this at md i guess they have taken over the distribution of the psu's now.Although the pricing is bad compared to corsair

Anyways I have opened a ticket at Seasonic Taiwan. Let's see if they can help with the repair else I'll dispose the psu. Locally repaired psu may turned out to be risky to use for side projects or even to donate.
I had an seasonic x750 that died just a few months back.
They will ask you to ship the psu to them in taiwan, wasnt worth it for me so i just got a coolermaster gold v2 850,works perfectly so far . Though i might upgrade to rm 1000x ,but they are too expensive right now.

Old Rmx 2018 series is no longer in production , Now they 've launched RMx 2021 series which is good too.
Corsair RMx series Psu's are too good. I am using RM650x since last 4 yrs.
I also used RM850 for 20 days , which is now on sale. Corsair used Chinese capacitors in RM series unlike Japanese which comes with RMx series.
I didn't noticed any performance or quality difference. So this comparison with Japanese capacitor build is more psychological than real.
When company is confident in providing 10 years warranty I didn't bothered whether they used Chinese or Japanese capacitors. However for some other reasons this project failed and I dissembled my rig and almost everything is on sale.

Seasonic PSU are the best, remember those platinum fanless series. @fastapifastdisks I know about Tirupati enterprises and seasonic but Cooler master isn't bad either.
It depends on the series you're buying. If considering the base or economy kind of series almost every brand is similar.

It 's good to try with Seasonic RMA, let's see what happens next.
