I was just watching this movie lol. This song brings back hazy memories of my village from at least 21 years ago. My cousin sister whom I first heard singing this song passed when she was pretty young. She taught me the words to this song.

i find their lesser-known songs even (hauntingly) better than their most popular ones! been listening to them since ~16-17 yrs; though now so-called 'neo-retrowave'/'vaporwave' etc. is more of my like 'mainstay' from past few years, but every-now-and-then i keep coming back to TFF's tracks & other golden ones esp from that 'golden decade' (80s).

Indeed gold...No matter what kind of modern music/songs I listen to, the 80s are always special. Been listening to them since my college days. They have some aura of their own, always soothing and interesting even if I listen often. People born in 80s or 70s are lucky.
finished y'day with the last (sadly) season & episode of the 'better call saul' series, and the closing scene's music/soundtrack has been stuck in my mind in continuous loop hauntingly! calming & soothing but at the same time can make your mood & innards feel 'heavy' (or can complement your feel). reminds me of RDR:

a short trip down the memory-lane (again)..
(had listened to this/watched this back when it was released, 17-18 yrs back. stuck with me ever since. at times i still listen to it whenever am in the mood or i recall it.)
(another 'favourite' from the same time, among many, many others more!)
(a fairly new discovery by accident from some yrs back. liked it.)
and..
(watched this movie recently after a long wait, and liked it, plus this track too)
(liked this recreation of retro/80s' vibes)
i listen to *songs* (ie, music with vocals) very less now, and more often only neo-retro or instrumentals etc. but do listen to random songs/music like these from time-to-time in between.
these thumbnails reminded me of some tracks by 'the midnight', 'scandroid' & 'kalax' with the same 'neo-noiresque' imagery & sound to them which i like..
(i like their vocalless versions more, albeit the voice here isnt harsh & is likeable)
