People turn out greedy, happens in all fields everywhere and anywhere, even after taking minute details of any members/dealer etc. if someone commits fraud, platform/site cannot help it (Its stated in rules which everyone abides too)when money trumps everything...

But noted since several months,TE is turning more into trading grounds (buy/sell). Lot of members are only interested in buy/sell and nothing else.
At point, when they reach allowed criteria to use buy/sell area, they stop participating in rest of site, leaving behind the main goal of tech support/discussion area.
More restrictions needed, if people only come for buy-sell, then of no use.
This kind of frauds will never get stopped.
