Other Feedback Disable auto rotation in android [browser] app

I installed the web app on my Android, and it automatically switches to landscape mode (using sensor ig) even when my phone settings are strictly set to portrait mode. This is quite annoying.

You use iOS, I guess. In Android, you can download browser based apps (for some websites) just like in PC browsers.

No I use Android. What is stopping you opening the website in a browser ? Why do you need a web app ?

Why do you need a web app ?

Shows me a separate notification icon (in this case bell), instead of the chrome icon on the status bar.

Its a web app and not a normal apk file
Also, the rotation manager app is 10 years old and is no longer supported.

Assuming it's a PWA, it would have a manifest file but not sure how you can access that.
There is another app in the reddit post. Try that.
