Forum Feedback New forum software, feedback and issues!

First time in ever have seen a confirmation dialog for a reaction.
Yeah now there are more advertisements (and more annoying) all over the website  is it just me?

It just results in me drastically reducing my visits to such sites (like another tech site, facebook, linkedin etc) unless anyone has any suggestions to reduce or eliminate the ads without hurting the forum's earnings?
You could upgrade your account to Enclave Plus. But I suppose it highlights another point. It seems Enclave Plus is mostly used by newer members for Classifieds access for now and it would be great to have a lower priced ad-free tier that experienced members can use to support.

I am getting it on the Alt Dark theme and I am unable to edit my earlier post.

Also observed that links are unreadable with this theme.

Edit: Can confirm that post reaction confirmation as well as the inability to edit comments is specific to the Alt theme (using on a tablet).

One noteworthy upgrade is the orientation lock. The site and PWA stays in portrait whatever orientation I keep.

Thanks mods!

I can confirm the same on alt dark theme too on pc but not the links issue. Also, selecting text from posts doesn't give "reply/quote" popup option in alt dark theme. main issue I found in xenforo dark theme besides the visual appeal is that it is very difficult to differentiate between read & unread notifications in the list when clicking on bell icon. @vishalrao I think such issues might be related to alt theme not somehow able to execute javascript properly in new forum software version as I can confirm that clicking confirm to like a comment is something I can produce intentionally on another forum by disabling its javascript permission in noscript addon.

I get a confirmation to like any post in topics/direct messages ?
I am taken to next screen and click like there, then it returns to original page.. (soo much time wasted)

One more glitch for ALt-Dark/White theme- in market threads if you click on any image it will open in a new tab instead of the usual image browsing style with arrows to scroll around.
It means the theme is partially compatible with the new sware.
I hope @Renegade fixes it fully whenever he finds time for it!

I just noticed this on the Feedback tab. On the right side, above "Visit deal thread", there are two blue buttons, but I couldn't tell what they do without clicking them. One is for Report and one is to revert feedback. Think it is some design or theme error and those buttons should have visible titles.

One issue I have observed (not sure if it is theme related, I am using alt dark) is that even after I have replied to a post, I still see everything In the bottom compose box. Within the same thread only which is ok. Not across forum.

And as someone else pointed out, in this alt dark, when liking a post, it asks for confirmation of the reaction.

Just now realised that "Edit" is not working. I wanted to add something to my post but "Edit" button didn't work so as a workaround, I added a new post and as expected, forum software auto merged my posts.

Firefox 132.0.2 (64-bit).

Edit: Just now checked, it has already been discussed on the previous page. Please delete my post.
