Need help with a Win 11 activation guys.

I built a new PC, deactivated the key on my old PC but the new PC is not accepting that product key [it's not an OEM key]. Tried raising a request for a call back from MS but nothing happened. Any suggestions?

Raised request for a callback 5 times. No callback. Someone on FB suggested this. Is it safe from hanging/crashes/security points of view?

Since you have already paid for it, your conscience is clear
Get the Microsoft Activation Scripts from Massgrave and use them

Nowadays your product keys get linked to your Microsoft account.

So just install Windows and log in with the same account as before. There's a good chance it would activate.

If it was a pro license, but the activation shows home, just click get pro or whatever button shows up in the settings page. It should automatically upgrade as well.

If nothing works, MAS from Massgrave is legit and can be used.

I have logged in with the same account. Maybe I'll log out and login again as I had first logged in BEFORE deactivating it on my old PC.

The ironic part is that Microsoft Support itself has used MAS due to the frequent legitimate activation issues.

But yeah, generally find it odd that people would purchase salvaged or volume keys rather than use MAS.

LMAO

At this point, Microsoft should just make MAS the official activation method for retail customers.
Their purchase revenue is most probably minuscule compared to the revenue they get from data mining their customers anyways.

Might as well just abandon it altogether and save everyone some unnecessary headaches (and reduce their support expenditure as well).

Microsoft themselves said, they are okay with non-business users using the pirated windows. I don't remember the correct words, but it was something like "If they are going to steal, we want them to steal from us"

The big question is :-

If using some activator, activates my windows and due to this my hardware ID gets registered on microsoft server for that particular version of windows, so next time when I completely wipe my system and reinstall windows from official windows ISO and it automatically gets activated.

If procedure like this exists then is it worth it to buy the cheap license keys?

Did you not have it linked to your microsoft account? This way you can change as many PC as you want and you will have windows activated as long as your linked microsoft account is logged in. If not then you can buy a cheap key off market somewhere. Go massgrave route if you'd like since you already paid for the account.

Save yourself the headache, and use MAS, as suggested by other members. This is if linking with your MS account doesn't work ultimately. You will get no support from MS, since it's a non-retail copy that you are using.

It's legit, safe, is used by MS themselves (when backed into a corner), and there is no need to buy OEM keys.
