If you want someone to put the handwritten note with username/date in 2 pics, how do we improve this guideline so it is better understood?

- Include at least two clear photos of the product with a handwritten note showing your TechEnclave username and the current date.

I think it's quite clear, but maybe you can change it to this (bit more explicit) :

- Upload at least two unique photos of the product. In both photos, include a handwritten note on paper that is clearly visible and readable. The note must show your TechEnclave username and the current date, and it must be placed next to or on the product (not edited or added digitally). Do not write on a digital tablet. Both pics should have the product and the handwritten note.

Sir.. with only 3 trade feedback you are questioning my trade posting..

I am member of this forum for almost 20 years.. have great feedback ... Still I do not understand what people want...

The labels on ssd are printed with very tiny letters.. it's very hard to get focus on mobile phone camera .. still I tried my best to put the best picture.. now do I have click images with professional DSLR CAMERA..

What is wrong here... Mods please explain.. is there anything I am missing
Ok mods I will put more pics tomorrow again...
 
Yes understand I will put more two pics ..

I have seen many post here without written name and date .. earlier and it was allowed..

Those posts went unchecked , unmoderated and nobody pointed it out. Yours would have too.
It's just that somebody who knows the rules came across yours when you posted it.

It's actually easier for a camera to focus with contrasting black text on a white background as long as theere are no extreme reflections.

Tbh , you can't improve on a one line instruction that is already simple enough to understand.

People tend to follow the rules (partially or completely wherever possible) as per their convenience
or some of them just forget or they simply don't care to follow them because they don't know rules exist in the first place.

In most cases , The seller will still make a sale regardless of if their sales post follows the rules because people have fomo or are desperate for lack of a better word to buy something.

There's no way to improve this without an "incentive" system with points being offered for not complying with the rules.

  • Your TechEnclave username
  • Today’s date


That being said, I have seen that it's mostly new people who don't do this. And I think the reason they don't is because they miss the stickied Rules post, since the new post creation thing is right on top. Perhaps a warning or popup of some sort when creating a For Sale thread might be the more effective way. Or maybe prefix the name of the Rules thread with a 'READ THIS BEFORE POSTING', or something along those lines.

You should be able to as long as you're not restricted.

I think your thread had two images , one with the note and one without , and in addition you had screenshots of Diskmark with the username.
There have been worse threads posted recently.

I think due to you not following posting rules correctly, mods must have levied some infraction points to you (a soft ban). It might be in place for a week.
Or, it could just be a glitch.

Same happened with me because I posted AI content in the forum, so Mods imposed a soft ban of 1 week and lifted it off.
