Hi, i'm building a new PC for 1440p below are the specs i have shortlisted, I'm upgrading after 6 yrs so i'm looking for a build for the next 6 yrs for 1440p gaming at high/ultra setting with min. 90fps (stable)

CPUAMD Ryzen 5 9600X
GPUASRock RX 9070 Steel Legend OC 16GB

So any suggestion on the specs. Alternately i'm also considering 7600X with 7900GRE if there is no major impact.

I'm also selling my existing pc, if there are any takers, specs below. I'm looking for approx. 30K

Do you really need this upgrade? 5700x3d + 9070 (for not changing the PSU) will last you for another 3-4 years easily. You can get a new monitor, kb&m though.

Might wait for a few more years and build on AM6 which will have better upgradability.
Considering how AM4 can still be upgraded after so many year and while AM5 is out, i'm sure AM5 wll also stay for long plus AM6 is as of now hypothetical. I would love to upgrade right now since my current specs are barely meeting the min. requirements of modern games.

PS. My son turned 6 months, so for me it's now or never kind of scenario.

Ryzen 7600 is enough for 1440p/4k gaming. You can save that 5k and get the 9070 XT which should be around 10% better than the 9070. I would generally avoid adata ssd and get wd sn770.

I was initially leaning towards 7600x but probably go FOMO. 9070XT i'll get if i get a good deal.

Any issue with Adata ? it seems better than WD SN770. I have been using Adata SSD without issue hence i considered it.
Also how is Crucial P3 Plus ?

Any issue with Adata ?
There is a general consensus of adata ssd's not being reliable. Also ssd's are one of the most failure prone parts in a system and WD has good reputation, although personal experiences can vary. WD and Samsung ssd's are being sold on TE regularly, you can check those listings to buy at a discount.

R5 7600 + 9070XT should be good. For gaming, CPU options right now are R5 7600 or 9800X3D. Nothing in between makes sense for gaming.

Included kind of an expensive mobo but can consider it for future proofing, if you want.

Acer XV272U V3 should be 16k on amazon after CC offer. Generally VA panels has worse response times than IPS.

Avoid QLC SSDs like P3 plus.
Does B850 have any benefits over B650 ? Only diff. i see is PCIe Gen5 which apparently is almost similar to PCIe Gen4. But I'll still keep it in mind.

For some reason i prefer 7600x to 7600, will decide basis price.

Cabinet has to Lian Li 216, my cabinet is above the monitor thus the top I/O becomes practically inaccessible, 216 I/o can be relocated and has good thermals

SSD, if i can get the Adata one at 11K i'll get that else WD is my backup

Why the Cooler seem so cheap m? anyways i would prefer something like Deepcool AK400 Zero Dark Plus 120mm or the AK400 digital version.

Monitor has to be a curved screen, Wife demands it. so i've been also considering Gigabyte GS27QC 27 which is 14K. No IPS option in curved apparently :(

I chose that mobo myself because of the Gen5 GPU slot & GPU release button. Your call if you want to spend 19k on a mobo. BTW SBI cashback CC works on Vedant.

If you can control the CPU & price difference is just 1k, can consider 7600X.

216 is a good cabinet indeed.

Avoid Adata S70 or any Innogrit controller SSD, has reliability issues. SN770 is a solid choice or buy open box Samsung 990 pro for 13k from the guy who sells it in TE forum.

Coolers got cheap recently. You can get AG620 or CM 620S for 3k, which is what anyone needs in a cooler.

Your call, but I will prefer flat over curved any day, have used friend's curved 27" Samsung monitor (old G7, which actually had a panel better than most IPS).

So let me ask this, is it worth spending 19K or even 18K on a mother board if my use is going to be Gaming and some occasional Photoshop. I would just use PBO & EXPO no OC
Should i just get something like a Asrock B650 PG Lightning or Gigabyte B650 Eagle ?
Here's my suggestion:

You really don't need PCIe5 (especially for storage) unless you're a heavy content/video creator or transferring large datasets to a home NAS.

The Lancool 216 is one of THE best airflow and cable management focused cases <10k.

+add 16- 17k for the Acer monitor, as @OMEGA44-XT suggested.

I've read of coil whine is loud in gigabyte mobo, any comments ? I had B650 Aorus Elite Ax V2 in my backup

I had an X470 Aorus Elite Gaming in the past, and currently running an X870 Elite. I haven't faced any such issues.

IMO, curved monitors don't make sense at 16:9, or at least not a 27-inch one. Did you also research about the VA panels being used in low-end curved monitors? You'll get smearing due to high response times in these monitors, and if you play competitive games with a lot of movement, it's really annoying. If you really want curved monitors, go for 32-inch 16:9/34-inch ultrawides. But since you are looking at 27-inch monitors, why not go with flat IPS panels like LG Ultragear?

Example of smearing

This was helpful, would definitely prefer the Acer monitor over curved, now the challenge is to convince the wife.
So far the specs : 7600X (maybe Non-X) + Pulse 9070 Xt + B650 Gaming X V2 + WD SN770 + MSI A850GL + AG620 BK + Lian Li 216

last piece, the RAM which is hope the adata one is fine, alternately i was Kingston Fury Beast.

I don't see Asrock B650/B650M PG Lightning WiFi in stock anywhere, used to be a great 13k mobo. B650 Eagle/Gaming X AX vs B850 Gaming X WiFi, as mentioned, earlier, the Gen5 GPU slot & GPU release button are worth 3k for me. Your call if you want to spend on it or not. Any mobo above this makes no sense to me.

Not sure how anyone in India can here coil whine. I had no coil while in my old B660M DS3H nor in my B850 Gaming X WiFi from what I can tell.

I think i'll stick to B650 Gaming X V2, considering how the diff between in Gen 5 & Gen3 is 1-4% doesn't really push me towards Gen 5. The Quick release GPU is definitely cool but i can live without.

I appreciate you suggestion though, thanks a lot helped me narrow down in Gaming X.
