Well the user can post whatever they want in the thread, just that it would be difficult for buyers to find the items. Easy for buyers that open every thread.

This still doesn't justify the humongous amount of threads that will be created because of this.
Most threads with multiple items usually have atleast 3-5 items, even for a simple computer a person might have to make like 8-10 threads.

However if thread seem complex we can divide the core marketplace thread in 2 parts.
First consist of only the part where seller can post.
Second is community tab, where everyone can discuss about the thread.
ON default , when opened they will come to the first part.
Seller can move messages from community tab to default tab.
It should be easy to switch between the two tabs.

This will also fix the issues with multiple mebers ruining threads of sellers.
In recent memory a lot of threads have been ruined because of nonsensical discussion, something has to be done about it.

Make rules about the garage section, there should be rules about minimum bid multiple and highest bidder has to buy the item

Can the seller have multiple Category , Subcategories in a single thread.

Nope, that is not possible and is counter intuitive. A topic can belong to only one category/subcategory.

We can however have a misc or assorted kind of category for garage sale type of threads.

The product condition can be split into cosmetic condition and working condition. Very often this is a topic of debate. And instead of rating (1-5) we can have drop-down options

Cosmetic

• Flawless
• Minor scratches, dirt, and discoloration
• Major dents or scratches
• Broken but functional

Working condition

• Flawless
• Minor/occasional glitches
• Issues with peripherals/accessories/non-core functionality
• Issues with core functionality
• Unusable in current state but possibly repairable
• Non-functional
• Untested
