Image distortion on screen

Hi Friends,

I has bought NEW Acer Nitro VG240Y (M3bmiipx) Monitor in Dec. 2024, since then I suddenly start geting below type image issue and if I refresh the page, same issue get solved, so is this really a system (iGPU) or Browser or Monitor or Internet Connection Speed (Loading) issue, can any one suggest please?

check cable first, re-seat it at both ends and see if it fixes that, also if its only this page, then I'm pretty sure its browser issue, easiest way to confirm this is to just tab over to another program

it's not happning all time but suddenly for few images from bunch of product pages or individual image even Gmail logo too some time looks like images in first post and if I reload the same page Gmail image looks normal as it should be.

if its only images that keep distorting , and happens at just images, its not a monitor issue.
this by the looks of it seems like gpu memory like issue.
but
have you tried different browsers yet?
and as usual try re-seating hdmi cable, changing its ends. that is reconnect the cable but this time flip it, (monitor end to pc and pc end to monitor).
but itna sure hai, its not monitor issue.
is that linux mint OS?

Does it happen with only images or text as well? If images only, I suspect internet connection issues.

I get this usually when I work on dual monitor setup on my office laptop and yeah its the hdmi cable issue if it sits loose or gets shaken during operation. Win-D and back and the distortion goes away. Happen to me almost daily.

I had similar issues on my older system. The main culprit were bulging capacitors on motherboard. After few days i replaced the bulged capacitors and system was fine. You should rule out monitor issue by connecting your system to another monitor or tv. Also if you are comfortable opening your pc cabinet inspect for any bulged capacitor heads. If present get them replaced at pc repair shop. They are dirt cheap 10 rs. to 20 rs. Refer below image for reference...

Bulged capacitors are commonly caused due to frequent power cuts or grounding issues in ac mains supply..

I have had same issue with my Intel DH67BL Original Intel Board in June 2020 (Lock Down Time) and no PC Repair shop was open (closed) so I request one speaker repair shop owner, first he refues saying he never did replace PC Board capacitor but as there was no option I insist him to replace and board went kaput.

I think the issue is only with BRAVE Broswer.
Since past few days even while Browsing anything via Brave, Google every time throw Image Captch with information that it seen lot of traffic from my IP etc. etc.....
