Ordered this last time it was suggested. Would not recommend. Intermittently disconnected from network when transferring large files (~500GB+). Ended up returning.

Edit: To answer the questions below.
You can order wavlink 5gbps one on sunsky for around 2.2k.
And a non branded one few hundreds cheaper.
@Party Monger
- I'm using the wavlink 2.5G. It's unreliable.
- Generic ones aren't worth the hassle imo. I'm looking for anything built around Realtek RTL8156 controller, due to easy availability of drivers across linux subsystems.

You mean transferring single files of 400-500GB+ or multiple files with total size 500GB+? You can reply by editing your previous post to avoid cluttering this thread.
@guest_999
- For large transfer containing multiple files whose total capacity exceed 500GB, it'll run fine for few minutes and then disconnect.
- Turns out it's a common issue.

Not much point as majority of consumer networking gear support 1/2.5/10gbps with rarely native/fallback 5gbps support. You can reply by editing your previous post to avoid cluttering this thread.
