Now finally I dont understand what this guy keeps blabbering about layer lines.
here is a pic of both.

Lastly little dissappointed that Crazzy_eddy believed that a somewhat good repped guy on TE would scam for mere 235rs.
Its ok he has to listen to both sides but i mean at the end Does it make sense?
If i was ever a scammer I would have never reached so many successfull trades in TE without a single negative feedback.
If you still want in-depth analysis...I can make side by side comparison between STLs clearing everything but hoping the above would be enough as this just doesnt feel worth for me spending money and wasting time in addition to all this hassle.. @Crazy_Eddy Lemme know what you decide.

I wish you had sent this image of both boxes when I requested on Monday. I didn't publicly accuse you of scamming nor did I outright refuse refund/replacement until you didn't send the picture of both boxes together.

I'll refund you the full cost of the order as well as send you a replacement if you're open to it.

For what it's worth, I apologize for the inconvience. As for why I was so felt so confident about my own assessment, it's a combination of things. Needless to say, you requesting a new iteration rather than a replacement played a part.

Needless to say, this has all been a tiring adventure, just as much as me, I admit, as it must've been for you.

Maybe you'll agree to it, maybe you won't -- but money was never part of the equation or motivation.

@slippery , I may have a noob question, but is there anyway to get rid of those micro lines appearing in 3d prints?
Maybe if the sides are flat like this geebee's model, is there possibility that you heat the bed and flip all flat sides on that like we flip rotis in hot tawa and that melts the lines and make a smooth finish ...

That's a funny visual so thank you. No, you can't flip it like a hot tava.

The layer lines appear because the printer is literally laying down lines of filament. We can change layer height to the minimum to improve the look.

But layer lines are a physical limitation of FDM prints and ideally, you want to use resin printing to get the closest look to molded plastic, without the obvious layer lines.

The layer lines in resin printing will be MUCH, MUCH smaller than FDM and hence much much less visible.

I don't know how this horrible idea came to my mind. I has a 3d printed toy nearby, and out of curiosity I thought I'll heat it up a bit and flaten the lines with a steel ruler. Heated it up using hot air gun only to find that the 3d printed toy (which was very hard ) became like rubber and deforming very easily.. who knows it's petg, pla, or what but it definitely don't behave like normal PVC plastic.

Edit:
Hmm... Wrote some harsh things in this same message but guess everyones out here struggling to live , learn and enjoy life.
So I guess its ok, you did what you did.
But had a little heartbreak of those reseller accusations :(
But as long as I know what the truth is its fine.
Sry from my side as well for acting little harsh.
Hope you learned valuable lessons from this incident and try to do better or else all my time spent here would be for nothing.
Would love to work with you again with more trust then before hopefully. :)
Peace out.

PS - With this final outcome feeling like Thorfinn from Vinland saga. :D
