Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Was perfect, the whole thing. A 400km ride on my motorcycle after ages, barely any traffic as I entered and exited Mumbai on a Sat evening/night, the movie in an IMAX setting, a fanboi audience that was quiet and yet audibly appreciative, and loads of malai chai during the trip. I like this...

Is Sex Education season 4 (also, its last) worth the time? 20 mins into the episode and am super uninterested already. Such a let down from the freshness of the first two seasons. Even the third season was decent. I have a theory on this that's likely to be very unpopular - toxic masculinity...

Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Saw a bunch of theater re-releases over the last week. Interstellar - Rode to the Wadala IMAX in Mumbai for this one. Throughly enjoyed it. Reaffirmed my belief that Nolan is to this era what Spielberg was to the previous one, when it comes to mastering technical finesse and an ambitious...

    The wet shaving thread

It's a good option. But if you want to just try DE razor shaving, go with the much cheaper DE from Gillette (not the plastic one, but the metal head model). It's pretty good and forgiving, for a DE razor.

It's magical realism - you either love it, hate it or grow to love it. Was the latter with me. S3, a conclusion I never expected despite what was said by one of the characters at the end of S2, is some of the greatest storytelling ever on TV. But the key with Lynch is his stories never...

Because you haven't watched it? Heartbreaking because it 'happens' again, and with whom it does so.

And it's one of the more heartbreaking moments of the series. Terrifying and heartbreaking. Twin Peaks is weird. Like a novel, but on TV.

    English TV series discussion

Twin Peaks is one of the most extraordinary series I've watched, and the art/thought behind it has only made a deeper impression since the time I watched it. David Lynch had (RIP) one of the most fascinating minds ever.

I miss watching these. The 90s was full of these. Now, I don't know where to look. Something as simple as One Fine Day is so much fun every time you watch it.

    Adani group, an Evil corp?

It's beautiful indeed watching the deep state (USAID, for starters) getting bodied by Trump. Too early to say if it'll last, but the next 4 years should be good for us. Time to do big-ticket changes without fearing foreign meddling.

    Adani group, an Evil corp?

The concern for investor protection is laughable, especially as many (not all of course) members here advised those with a differing opinion to go buy Adani shares, not to mention the name-calling. Bad-faith arguments and now bad-faith concern.

    Anxiety and palpitations

Do you engage in regular exercise? If not, would suggest joining a gym or picking some other form of rigorous exercise. Anxiety is often made worse by lack of physical movement and pushing yourself physically helps improve mental health and resilience/tolerance to stress.

    Adani group, an Evil corp?

Yet to read in-depth into the issue but looks like the investigation was a couple of years in the making, by the SEC. All the more reason why the timing is suspect. There's always an off-ramp. Trump might and probably will use this to drive a hard bargain on trade issues. But it's a 'poisoned...

Homeland Y100, Electric Height Adjustable Table

Really wanted to buy this. But just don't have the space to accommodate the additional 70cm length over my current 90cm desk.
