I don't see why it should. Every device with lithium batteries will have protection against overcharging as the lack of it will result in more than just swelling. On heavy use it is bound to degrade from the charge cycles, heat from both laptop and external elements but quietly running...

Any major reasons why one wouldn't switch to something like Firefox instead of chrome? As someone who completely deggogled, I wouldn't even consider chrome but I am curious on reasons why others are sticking by it despite everything google has done.

Can you explain why locking boot loader can brick the phone? Running grapheneos as well so didn't have to worry about it but curious to know how is it for other ROMs. Can't remember if I locked my old phone after installing one.
