Anyway found the damage on the PSU itself, so it's not the monitor. I checked, both PCIe wires are damaged. One of them is melted and the other one has a few discoloured pins. Getting the wires for this model is difficult.

Nope, I don't think the monitor has anything to do with the problem.

As expected, Cooler Master denied warranty stating physical damage. Even spoke to the service head Gaurav Jain, but that was a futile exercise. Looks like I need to buy another PSU :(

Mine is the old one which predates the 40 series cards (bought 2021). Not sure if they would replace the the 3.1 version in my case.

Took off the pcie cable, found this. Definitely signs of melting and excess heat. Have to deal with Cooler Master support yet again, sigh.

Need the 12 pin adapter for the 3080/3090 FE (2x 8 pin to 12 pin adapter). A direct psu to gpu cable is also fine (psu is a CM V850 SFX), although stock adapter is preferred.

The 8 pin pcie power cable and socket, damn. That makes sense, my 3080 FE 12 pin adapter was damaged and a faulty cable or socket would maybe explain that. Will check it asap, thanks.
