The price of PI in USD is exclusive of sales tax. So, if you consider standard gst rate of 18% on base price of a PI, there isn't significant difference or markup for prices in INR. The benefit will not be significant.
Is travel advised tomorrow in the evening(Hyd) ?
On the day of voluntary lockdown during covid, we were rushing to our hometown and got delayed. Our car was stopped and driver was caned few times in typical police fashion for being on the street at 8 AM.
Want to avoid any issues and postpone...
The one I have looks like this https://www.amazon.in/CALANDIS-Dvb-T2-Antenna-Receiver-Remote/dp/B0BGP3WC5L
It's overpriced right now. Might as well get the original one.
I've heard that these work too ( rtl2832u ones) though it says dvb-t but double check before buying...
Are you specifically looking for official rtl-sdr or just an sdr dongle ?
DVB-t2 dongles can also be used as sdr. Got one of those couple of years back for 2K but before I've seen them as cheap as 800. Have tracked flights with ads-b, listened to FM, was able to trackdown sources of RF noise...

If weight is really a problem, its better to get a new/used lower spec 14" inch laptop that is lighter...
This also means higher ambient temperatures. Old laptops will typically have thermal issues due to dust and/or thermal paste not being as efficient as new. Better to do a stress test and check for heating issues if going for refurbished (offline).
Those refurbished lenovo thinkcentre tiny pc with a 8/9th gen i5 processor would have been good enough for your usecase. I've seen them listed for as low as 11-12K on Amazon.
It's strange that I can't find any lenovo, dell or hp 1L form factor refurbished PCs on Amazon anymore. Does anybody...
