Yes. Just barely on the SSD side though. The factory installed SSD differs in reviews (either Intel or Micron) and so does the speed from around 1700 to 2000. Hard to get anything better in that budget.
Display however is excellent, 16:10 and 400nits+ brightness (it's closer to 500 actually...
Lenovo ThinkPad is exactly made for this purpose and the ones with the premium construction start at around 1 lakh (P/X series). P14s Gen2 is around 1 lakh on their website with Ryzen Zen 3, 400 nits display and 16GB RAM.
The only issue with them is the shipping time, they build the SKUs to...
If you go for gaming laptops in that price then you give up on screen brightness, Intel WiFi, metal (or at least part metal) chassis, fingerprint scanner and a bit of build quality even though performance for daily tasks will roughly be the same. So I cannot recommend any of those for non-gaming...
I am using a HP Envy 14 myself but seriously their budget laptop displays in India just suck. No IPS or even 300 nits.
If you don't care about the screen brightness and are ok with the same old budget laptop screens the HP Pavilion 14 series or Dell Vostro will have some models in your budget...
I didn't have the time to look up any laptops for your budget right now but I will just warn you against buying that HP you linked. I might suggest specific laptops later.
Ryzen 3250U is pretty slow, it uses the 1st gen Zen core from 2016/17 which is comparable to Intel's 4th gen from...
Mumbai
It's been 6 months since I got Airtel and so far it has been infinitely better than the Hathway cable (DOCSIS) connection I had before.Tata Sky and MTNL both have fiber to my building also.
MTNL provides max 100Mb/s connections only and their ONTs are really bad.
Tata Sky uses CG NAT...
All the people I know have had no issues with Tata Sky Broadband so far. But I am curious about your issue with Airtel Fiber.
Fiber downtime is really rare, are you sure it's XStream fiber and not Airtel's V-Fiber (basically, not fiber but copper VDSL) connection?
As for gaming, Tata Sky...
Are 2C4T Tiger Lake processors capable of running 5-6 tabs and MS Teams? Yes. A lot of the work these days is done by GPU or dedicated hardware (in case of audio). NVMe SSD also takes some load off the CPU. And Tiger Lake dual core is as fast as many of the older quad cores. I would take 11th...
Late reply, but are you still looking for the perfect laptop? There's a few just outside your budget that would perfectly meet the needs.
I will suggest these metal build ones in order of build quality:
MacBook M1
HP Pavilion Aero 13 (Zen 3 + Vega 8 iGPU), HP Pavilion Laptop 14 (cheap), HP Envy...
Get a proper USB mic? BT mics have been shit and it's obvious in meetings if someone is using a BT mic. Your laptop mic is probably decent but you're not sitting in front of it.
As an audiophile, I consider 5-8k as the minimum budget for an acceptable wired headphone. So is finding a wireless one (that I can recommend) is hard with that budget.
Bluetooth adds a minimum of 80-150ms delay on Windows 10 depending on the codec (aptX = 80ms or so, SBC = 100ms+).
It's a lot...
FiiO FH3 is decent. Can't get much better than that.
I also found it to respond well to EQ. You can use Equalizer APO to get whatever sound signature you want.
My cheap ass Gigabyte B85M-D3H from 2013 has been running 24x7 for 8 years almost. The first component to fail was the PSU, and the next was a HDD. Each after 5 years of life. A couple of corsair and deepcool fans also failed in between. The cheapo H55 liquid cooler has also not failed yet -...
I have a i5-4440, but it's being used as my daily driver. So I'll have to swap my CPU on a Saturday before I can ship it.
Not looking to to exchange cash other than the collateral for your CPU though - 5% improvement is not worth much.
PM me if interested.
