Durable mouse suggestion for regular use with irregular gaming

I use both Logitech G304 and Razer Orochi v2. When my Logitech G304 developed double click issues, I ordered TTC Gold Dustproof switches, disassembled the mouse and took out the daughter board and asked a local mobile repair shop to solder it in for Rs 200. No issues after that. Will do the same...

Moto Book 60 + eGPU | A capable portable gaming setup | My thoughts

Oculink eGPU exists. TB5 eGPU boards do not. (techically they do but most seem to be in pre-launch certification phase). For the next 2-3 years TB5 controllers will guarantee 64 Gbps for eGPU use cases (128 Gbps for non eGPU use cases like running several 4k monitors), thus matching Oculink...

Review are thinkpads still better than dell lattitude??!

i5 11th Gen is my fav processor out of all. 12th gen (esp i7) has poor battery and 9/10th gens have weaker cpu & iGPU. For coding, 13 inch may be too small but subjective.

Review are thinkpads still better than dell lattitude??!

Both being business laptops, I am assuming you are talking about used, IT-companies-offloaded-through-auctions laptops as generally consumers will not buy a business laptop new for >1.2-1.4 lakhs. Thinkpads just have a dominant market share among companies so thats what you see more in the used...

21-30k Reliable basic laptop for a teenager

Durable ? Then all consumer laptops go out of the window. No way you will get trully durable non-plastic hinges below 1 lac. Used thinkpads are the only answer. Can drop them from first floor and they will live.

Moto Book 60 + eGPU | A capable portable gaming setup | My thoughts

Yes my miniPC + eGPU results are already in my imgur album but miniPC being not available in India, its not ideal. Ultrabook + eGPU is my end game, if I do happen to get this or some other laptop, will post for sure.

Moto Book 60 + eGPU | A capable portable gaming setup | My thoughts

Actually as long as you have your gpu connected over 64 Gbps-Oculink you can run even flagship cards with 5-10% loss compared to a 232 Gbps proper motherboard desktop connection (ofcourse assuming a decent CPU). This loss is lower as you go down the GPU hierarchy. However, things degrade...

You are mixing bytes with bits. The Kingston site is same as I said 8GB/s = 64Gbps in 4 lanes of PCIe 4.0 Kindly look at the top comment here for explanation: Link

Moto Book 60 + eGPU | A capable portable gaming setup | My thoughts

I haven't cut it yet. The pic is from a reddit thread - he used a dremel tool to cut it cleanly. Yes PCIe speed is very important. My oculink board is PCIe 4.0 - I get the full 64 Gbps provided by oculink. And the Moto Book 60 's vacant nvme slot is also PCIe 4.0 - that's why I'm so excited to...

Agree with the support part. Ultrabooks with twin ram and ssd slots are so rare (maybe non existent) so I kind of got excited to see this.

    1. Intro Motorola has launched its first Ultrabook in the indian market. The base variant sports Core 5 210H and 16 gb of ram and starts at Rs 61k. I just happened to notice that even in its tiny frame it has upgradeable ram and m.2 nvme ssd slots. Source : Moreover, the vacant slot seems to...
