    @ Vishal Rao.. yes ofcourse :? i installed VDisk. @ Dark_star.. its 7.10... ...Anyways i think it was an issue with that particular iso i had...dloaded latest 8.04.1 Desktop edition last night..its installing like butter as of now..so seems issue is resolved.

    I'd never recommend a smaller or smallest screen. Yes 17" is not ideal. I'd go for Dell Inspiron 1525(with budget as 40k) or w8 for Dell Studio 15 :)
