If you are asking me then unfortunately i can NOT help. I have stopped ordering from Flipkart after they cancelled my previous order and many others before. Moreover this item is marked as 'no return allowed' so i can't take risk for this.

Don't be so sure, 420j has 2 years warranty from synology official link I found online so considering warranty from mfg date only around 5-6 months of warranty left. To be sure you will need to contact synology support to confirm if they will honor 2 years warranty from invoice date for such old mfg date product.

Synology clearly mentions that the warranty is applicable from the purchase date. Whether they will honor without the serial number on the invoice is another thing.

I used to believe the same thing until I received official replies from wd/zotac/asrock that warranty is not applicable from purchase date if difference between mfg date & invoice date is too much/1 year or more. Also, one can forget about getting serial no. on new invoice from flipkart if it was not there in original receipt. Because of this I left the synolgy deal & will leave any similar deal too in future on flipkart. I don't recommend buying any too good deal on flipkart for pc components if the product was released at least 2-3 years ago.
