Man your personal details can be easily scraped from that PDF. Try it yourself. The blacked out portion can be copied and pasted.
Yes you are right. The address shows the complete details of the place KALAMASSERY, KERALA

What would be a better approach for sharing these PDF invoices in such a manner that the private data could not be accessed by any means ?

Thanks

hi @mods I need ur help. Everything went well till the time I dropped the message that I received the faulty cable. Now the TE member has stopped responding.

Faulty cable as in?

Has he sent you the invoice? It says it's still under warranty, so you could ask Seagate to replace it.

Faulty cable? You mean hdd itself is working fine?
@puns @Crazy_Eddy
I was getting frequent USB error messages and bad sectors during HDtune scan. Luckily I had cable from another HDD and I didn't face the same issues after changing cable.

No invoice received. I don't think data cable will not be covered in warranty.
I'll try to explain the situation.

After receiving the HDD I did HDtune scan and shared it with seller @Hei#4869

His reply:
Pls check once more HD Tune frequently gives false bad sectors.
USB message may be due to a driver issue on your PC.
Please update or use a different port.

During second scan I changed the cable and results were fine.
I replied:

The real culprit of frequent USB error message was data cable. I had another HDD cable when I did scan with it there was no USB error and no bad sector. The whole test took considerable time 7 + 1 hours. On Friday it was quite late at night so I did remaining test yesterday(pic 1, pic 2). The speed of HDD just dropped to half(pic 3) in the later part which might be the sign of imminent failure. Would you provide assistance in case there might be need of RMA. Secondly, cable needs to be replaced as it's faulty.
Results in last 3 pics
